Viking Axe
Instead of “Sword in the Stone” We have “Axe in a Stump”
Mobile Optimization
I wanted to challenge myself to try and optimize this axe for Mobile while retaining the silhouette. I used a combination of decimation, reduction, and hand retopo to get my verts down to 400. I had iterations as lows as 150 but this seemed to give me the best silhouette. I used the original piece to bake all my texture detail down with my final result to the left.
